Baskaran is a prominent personality in the Malaysian corporate circle. Having involved in excess of 40 years in the industry, Dato’ Baskaran takes pride and passion in his career and profession. In 1993, his entrepreneurial drive had prompted him to establish GMS PURNAMAX (M) SDN BHD and today, it has evolved into a solidified entity supported by a Parent Company and sister companies. Dato Dr. Baskaran's relentless pursuit to success and perfection had resulted in the phenomenal growth of this business empire. The benchmark for his success can be attributed to his stringent principles on quality, delivery and integrity. His global access to suppliers and customers is definitely a plus point for GMS' success. Various linkages and strategic alliances with foreign counterparts had resulted in win-win situations.

Retired Senior Banker exposed to both the domestic as well as international markets whilst serving as the Head of Product Development, Trade Finance, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad. He was also an active member of the Export Credit Refinancing (ECR) Committee chaired by Bank Negara Malaysia and currently by EXIM Bank, a committee member APEX, for standardization of import and export documents chaired by EXIM Bank, a committee member of Cross Border Barter Trade chaired by Malaysian Banking Berhad, an examiner for the International Trade Finance (DP 06), paper of Institute of Bankers Malaysia Diploma in Banking and Finance Services examination and a resident trainer for the Institute’s International Trade. Resident Trainer for the Institute of Bankers on Trade Discipline and trained BNM’s Auditors on International Trade Audit. His immense contribution to the banking fraternity and to Bank Negara Malaysia has been well received and recognized.  He is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of BTM Resources Berhad, a Public Listed Company involved in Timber Concessions and manufacturing of Timber related products. The Chairman of MIG Resources Sdn Bhd an investment holding company with investment in properties, food production, restaurants and Plastic Recycling. On the Board of Advisory Committee of Vidyaa Vikas International School, Sky Xchange Sdn Bhd and Green World Money Master Sdn Bhd both Companies engaged in Money Business Services.

Mr Tee has been appointed as the Director of Marketing of GMS Holding (Mal) Sdn Bhd since 2012. He is tasked with strategizing and providing new business direction to the group. Establish new businesses through his net working built up over the years in the industry.Prior to his his appointment, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Perwaja Steel Bhd from 2007 to 2011. Beside this, Mr Tee also worked with a few large steel manufacturing companies, such Megasteel Bhd and Amalgamated Industrial Steel Bhd, holding senior management positions. Additionally, Mr Tee also served in various industry related associations during the 35 years of his career in both building materials and steel industry. He graduated with a bachelor's of science degree in Business Administration from University of South Alabama in the USA in early 80's.

Mr Suresh has been involved in the metal recycling business for more than 30 years. Having been served on the board on GMS Group since 1993, he has been instrumental in the growth of the group and its success. Mr Suresh manages the overall procurement and sales planning for the group. He has served the company under various positions from production, marketing & sales, to finance. He specializes in the trade of Non Ferrous metals and his expertise are in market analysis of future trends and demand of metal products.
